Investor Rules
How wonderful that you are specifically and consciously looking for Islamically responsible investment opportunities.
On our platform you will find opportunities to invest in very different companies.
Companies that are at different stages, from startups to companies that have been around for years and want to grow.
We always try to express all information as simply as possible so that people who have not invested before can understand the information.
What can Rahim Investments do for you?
- We are mediators, no more and no less. If desired, we will put you in touch with the entrepreneurs shown on our platform. This can take place 1-on-1 or in an information session.
- Before an entrepreneur comes to our platform, a number of checks have been done, namely: Person, Product/Process, Forecast and Islamic responsibility. However, this does not absolve you as an investor from being well informed and asking critical questions of the entrepreneur.
- Islamic responsibility, especially for complex investment opportunities, is also tested by independent Islamic Finance advisors with whom we collaborate.
- It is important to know that it does not matter financially whether you come into contact with the entrepreneur through us or do so on your own. Because of us, you no longer have to deposit money with the entrepreneur, nor do we receive part of your investment. We like to be transparent about our revenue model; We receive a mediation fee from the entrepreneur himself in the event of a successful match. If there are no matches, we receive nothing.
Furthermore, it is good to know that this platform does not fall under the supervision of the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM), because;
- you will not receive advice on what to invest on this platform.
- this platform is not a broker, tax specialist, financial or investment advisor.
- no funds flow through us. Investors and entrepreneurs arrange this among themselves.
- this is not a crowdfunding platform.
- this platform is not a capital provider or loan provider.
- we do not draw up agreements. An entrepreneur arranges this himself.
Also good to know:
- As an investor, you should always do your homework before investing in anything. Be critical and ask the entrepreneur questions so that you understand where you are getting into and can oversee all the risks.
- As an investor, be realistic, entrepreneurship and investing by definition involve risks, which also makes it halal. You can make money, but you can also lose money.
- Rahim Investments is not liable for the decisions you make as an investor, always read our Terms and Conditions.
