General Info
We only place entrepreneurs on this platform who want halal financing and who want to keep their business operations halal now and in the future.
Rahim Investments has 350+ potential investors affiliated, which continues to grow over time. These people are specifically looking for an investment opportunity that complies with Islamic regulations and of course with an interesting return. The investors are diverse in their risk profiles and also diverse in their spending capacity.
As an entrepreneur, there are various ways to obtain halal financing for certain matters through investors. At Rahim Investments we often mediate in the following financing methods:
- Musharaka; An investor contributes money and receives a share in your company. This is the usual method for companies that are yet to be started (startups).
- Murabaha; This is often used to finance assets and goods (machines, business takeovers, vehicles, etc.). The investor purchases the asset and sells it to the entrepreneur at a profit. The entrepreneur pays the investor in agreed installments.
- Mudaraba; The entrepreneur and investor enter into a temporary partnership. This method is only applicable to existing companies that already have their infrastructure in place. Because the entrepreneur contributes his services/processes and the investor contributes money. The profit is divided between the two parties based on a previously agreed distribution.

Global steps for every entrepreneur
- Intake interview; based on this it is determined whether a collaboration is appropriate or not.
- Collecting and testing all information. We test for; Person, Product/Process, Forecast and Islamic responsibility.
- If agreed, the mediation agreement between you and us is signed and the collaboration is started.
- Your offer is then put on paper in understandable language and the offer is placed on our platform and we send it out to our mailing list.
- If there is interest, the entrepreneur and potential investors are brought together. This can be done through an information session or 1-on-1.
- The entrepreneur then takes over to bind an investor to him through an agreement. The entrepreneur is responsible for drawing up an agreement.
- If there is no interest, you do not owe us any compensation.
Rate for the mediation (amounts are excl. VAT)
- No match, no cost; only positive matches are charged a brokerage fee.
- We mediate from €200,000 and not below that.
- The brokerage fee is 5% of the successfully mediated amount. This may not be withheld from the investor and must be paid by the entrepreneur.
The rate is non-negotiable and VAT is excluded.
Also good to know
- If the entrepreneur cannot draw up an agreement himself, we can put the entrepreneur in touch with Islamic Finance advisors who can draw this up for a fee.
- It may be that Rahim Investments only successfully mediates part of the required amount, take this into account in your plans by drawing up a plan B.
